What the extension does

Prime Pace adjusts the playback speed of a visible HTML video on primevideo.com. It processes video-element visibility and playback state, current playback speed, the pitch-preservation setting and your speed-control selections in tab memory to provide this feature.

Data handling

The extension does not read subtitle text, video frames, audio samples, account details, cookies, browsing history or network request contents. It does not record keystrokes; it responds only to its documented shortcut combinations and ignores editable fields. It does not make network requests, send data to the developer or third parties, use analytics or advertising, or keep data in persistent storage. Prime Video continues its own normal network activity independently.

Retention and control

Settings exist only for the current page session and reset on reload or tab closure. Turning control off restores the original playback speed and pitch setting of the controlled video. Removing the extension and refreshing the tab stops its operation.

Limited use

Data accessed by Prime Pace is used only to provide its playback-speed controls. It is not sold, used for advertising, transferred for unrelated purposes, or used for lending or credit decisions. Prime Pace complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Hosting and contact

If this policy is hosted on Vercel, Vercel may process ordinary request information such as IP address and browser information to serve the page under its own privacy policy. This is separate from extension processing. For support or privacy questions, use the developer contact or support options on the Chrome Web Store listing. This page contains no analytics scripts.

Scope

Desktop Chrome on primevideo.com only. A Prime Video account and access to the title are required. Some streams, ads or live broadcasts may reject speed changes. Mobile apps, other Amazon domains and controls inside picture-in-picture are not supported.
